Would you like to use our company's combined road-rail transport services? We would be pleased to inform you below about the necessary requirements for the start of transportation:
- Your loading units must be technically suitable and approved for rail transport.
- Kombiverkehr must have details of the consignor, consignee and freight payer of the loading units to be transported.
- You take part in the kombiPAY30 payment procedure or set up a deposit account for a limited period, which Kombiverkehr debits to settle existing claims in the amount of the transport services you have used.
- Kombiverkehr must have received the following documents, completed in full and partially signed with legally binding effect:
- the "Your company details" form
- the agreement on the kombiPAY30 payment procedure signed by you, including the contact person, bank guarantee and SEPA business-to-business direct debit mandate annexes,
- confirmation of receipt of the General Terms and Conditions and information on load securing.
Once you have met all the requirements, you will immediately receive a transport authorization from us for the transport connection you have requested. You can then carry out your transports with Kombiverkehr. Incidentally, you do not have to be a limited partner in our company to enter into a business relationship with Kombiverkehr.
To make it as easy as possible for you to book loading units in our European network, we provide you with an online booking application with integrated web services for increased security when entering data. Information on the booking application is available here. Data exchange via interface is also possible. Further information on the KV4.0 data hub can be found on this page.
If you, as a Kombiverkehr customer, would like to have transports carried out on certain transport connections, a transport authorization is required for each of these connections. You only need to request a transport authorization once, provided that you regularly use the authorized transport connection. You can obtain your traffic clearance quickly and easily. Please follow the procedure described below:
Loading units (semi-trailers, swap bodies, containers) must be technically suitable and approved for combined road-rail transport. Such loading units can be recognized by the yellow so-called code license plates, which are attached to both long sides of the loading units, preferably in the front area. Without these labels, loading units are not accepted for transportation in combined road-rail transport. Exceptions to this are overseas containers in accordance with the ISO standard. The technical approval and marking of new loading units is generally not a problem. In any case, you should agree with your supplier that the new vehicles or containers will only be delivered with code license plates already attached. If you would like to register used loading units for rail transport at a later date, we will be happy to help you.
Your participation in the kombiPAY30 payment procedure is required to process shipments with Kombiverkehr. For this, Kombiverkehr requires a directly enforceable bank guarantee in the amount of 1.5 times the monthly turnover but at least EUR 10,000, the legally binding signed agreement and consent to the collection of outstanding freight via the SEPA direct debit procedure. Only the form provided by Kombiverkehr is used for the bank guarantee.
For transports to be carried out at short notice or for test transports, we will set up a temporary deposit account for you. You pay an amount equal to the expected transportation costs into this deposit account. This amount will be offset against the transports carried out on an ongoing basis. If the deposit payment is "used up", a further deposit payment must be made within the limited period of use in agreement with the employees of National or International Transport or participation in the kombiPAY30 payment procedure must be declared (see step 2a). Further information on the deposit account can be found here.
Together with the registration documents for the kombiPAY30 payment procedure or for opening a deposit account, you will also receive the "Your company details" form as an attachment. Please complete the form in full. We also ask you to confirm receipt of the General Terms and Conditions of Kombiverkehr GmbH & Co. KG and the information on load securing in writing using the "Confirmation of General Terms and Conditions and Load Securing" form. Please send us all the forms listed in step 3 by e-mail to the following address: neukunde@kombiverkehr.de
